Immunizations for Pregnant People – Influenza
2025-26 Edition
Why is it important for pregnant people to get the correct immunizations?
Getting the right vaccinations during pregnancy helps protect both the parent and baby from serious diseases like influenza, tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). These vaccines also pass on antibodies to the baby, giving them protection after birth.
What do the stars mean?
The scores show how well each health plan did at making sure that pregnant patients received influenza and tetanus, diphtheria toxoids and acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccinations. A higher score means more patients got the right care at the right time.
The scores are based on information from at least 30 health plan member administrative records in 2024.
