Why is it important to get your kidneys tested if you have diabetes?
If you have diabetes, your kidneys can get damaged without you knowing it. Regular tests can help catch problems early, before they get serious. Early treatment can protect your kidneys and keep you healthier.
What do the stars mean?
The scores show how well each plan did at making sure that patients with diabetes (type 1 and 2) between the ages of 76-85 years received a kidney health evaluation. This includes an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and a urine albumin-creatinine ratio (uACR) test. A higher score means more patients got the right care at the right time.
The scores are based on information from at least 30 health plan member administrative records in 2024.
