Why is it important to have a highly rated health plan?
A highly rated health plan may make getting needed care easier for you by ensuring that helping you can get appointments quickly and easily. A highly rated plan also gives you help you need, treats you with respect, and handles your claims quickly and correctly.
What can health plans do to ensure high ratings?
Highly rated plans make it easy for you to get the care you need. They also have doctors and staff that listen to you carefully, explain things clearly, and treat you with respect.
What do the stars mean?
The scores show the percentage of health plan members who highly rated their plan by giving the plan a score of 9 or 10 on a 0 to 10 scale. A higher score means more patients highly rated their health plan.
The scores are based on information from a survey of a sample of at least 100 health plan members in 2023.
